- March – Quebec Bulldogs win the National Hockey Association (NHA) championship and the Stanley Cup for the second time and second year in a row. The club then defeats the Sydney Minors 2 games to 0 in a Cup challenge.
- March – The Winnipeg Hockey Club win the Allan Cup.
- March – The Victoria Aristocrats win the Pacific Coast Hockey Association championship. The Aristocrats play an exhibition series with the Bulldogs and defeat them.
