Afghan Football Club Chaman or Afghan FC are a football (soccer) club playing in the Pakistan Premier League. The club is based in Chaman, Balochistan, a border town near Afghanistan. The Afghan Club have a loyal fan base with locals turning up in huge numbers to support their team at their home matches held in a makeshift pitch at the Chaman High School Stadium.
They are founding members of the PPL, and have struggled to compete in the league. In 2004, Muhammad Essa’s goals saved them from relegation, however he left for WAPDA FC the following season. Their most successful season was in 2005.
Afghan FC barely avoided relegation in the 2006/07 season, finishing in 9th spot 2 points above Wohaib FC who edged out HBL FC in the drop zone to survive as well. In July 2008, the club's long time President, Haji Jamal, died while undergoing treatment in Quetta.
