HafenCity is a quarter in the borough Hamburg-Mitte of Hamburg, Germany.
HafenCity Hamburg is a project of city-planning where the old harbourquarters of Hamburg are built on with offices, hotels, shops, official buildings and residential areas. The project is one of the largest rebuilding projects in Europe in the 21st century. The area of the HafenCity was part of the free trade zone. The border line of the Hamburg Port free trade zone was moved south.

On March 1, 2008 due to a law of Hamburg [1] the neighborhood HafenCity was assigned the official status of a quarter.

The Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kirgisistan) established in Hamburg in 1995 is located in the street Am Sandtorkai 77. [2]
