José Antonio Alonso

José Antonio Alonso Suárez, (born March 28, 1960) is a Spanish Socialist Workers' Party politician, Deputy for León who is the current spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group. From April 18, 2004 to April 7, 2006 he was the Minister of the Interior in the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and since then he has been the Minister of Defence until April 11, 2008
