This article is about the English term for the Chinese unit of mass. For the English unit of mass, see stone (mass).
Stone is the English name of the Chinese unit of mass which is called the shek (石) in Cantonese. One stone equals 120 catty.
In Hong Kong, one stone equals 72.5747784 kilograms, and according to Ordinance 22 of 1884, it is equivalent to 160 avoirdupois pounds.
