[edit] Removing an inaccuracy
I've removed the phrase 'successively smaller majorities' as it is inaccurate.
Singh improved his majority in the 2001 election, and then saw a decline in 2005. That makes it a smaller majority only in the most recent election.
I know it is a minor point, but the original phrase carries a deliberate air of judgement, which is wrong.Mwmonk (talk) 21:53, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
