Usage
If a single category:
- {{subst:cfm|ProposedName}}
- ProposedName is the category name you desire to merge this into. It must already exist; if it does not, you should use {{cfr}} to rename.
If a group of similar categories or a category and its subcategories, use an umbrella nomination:
- {{subst:cfm|ProposedName|SectionName}}
- ProposedName is the desired replacement name for the category.
- SectionName is the joint discussion section. It may be a category name, or any other unique name that reflects the nominations.

- {{subst:cfm|Example|Category:Bishops}} — with category prefix
- {{subst:cfm|Example|Bishops and archbishops categories}} — without category
