Please read the quick guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by that agreement. Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask local sysops/administrators to add you there. Thank you.

Please add your name to the bottom of the list using
- {{AWBUser|your username}} ~~~~~ (write it exactly as it is, don't add underscores instead of spaces or change case of first letter). (That's 5 tildes). If the list contains entries that are over 48 hours old, please mention this (nicely) at WP:AN, and an admin should be by shortly to process the requests. Note that users with under 500 mainspace edits are RARELY approved. Also, you only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace edits! If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

I do a lot of work at WikiProject Novels, especially with the newsletter, and I would find this a useful addition which will make edits and fixing quicker and easier. Do a lot of edits to fantasy related articles, where typos are common, and a really annoyance to fix at the moment. It is the sort of tool I will not use hundreds of times a day, but I find the need for it often enough that it would make everyones life easier.

For use with cleaning up pro wrestling articles as well as updating Minor League Baseball rosters and articles as these are updated so frequently with trades, releases, promotions and demotions, etc.

As can be seen, I've been working on the Copy to Commons backlog. Most of what I'm doing could be semi-automated such that all it requires is a visual confirmation. Saving a decent amount of time.

To make it go faster adding orphan tags to those needing it.
